Dev Log for May 2024, Week 20:
Monday / Tuesday:
Alas, these days decided my avidity would go to construction. I’m building video displays for the conference, which I think will be awesome, but also will probably take up most of the week. I will try to get some development on Deck and Balls done, but these things have cut in line for the time being.
I will note that I’m not sure what happened at the end of last week coming into this one, it almost feels like one of those “missing time” things, but I remember where it all went.
Wednesday:
Was working late on the convention stuff. It will be warm tomorrow so I’m going to try and get some stuff done tomorrow.
Thursday:
Friday:
Did the pair programming thing, helped a friend of mine get started in Godot, coming from Gamemaker. We had fun, but I didn’t get a whole lot done.

So how did it go:
I’m getting to this on the Tuesday of next week, if that tells you anything. Long story short: I’m off my game in almost every way. I think I have too many balls in the air, with the conference and all the side projects that brings. It’s left me feeling like everything’s a side project. The good thing is I am wrapping up one of the larger commitments, so I think this will only be like this for another week or so. I’m going to chalk it up to lessons learned for now, and plan on making improvements.
